Private Family Owned Dental Care practice is seeking a skilled and compassionate
Dental Hygienist
to join our family‑oriented dental practice. The ideal candidate is patient‑focused, detail‑oriented, and committed to providing high‑quality preventive and therapeutic oral healthcare in a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
Conduct oral health assessments and record detailed patient histories
Take and develop dental X‑rays (as required)
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments as needed
Identify signs of oral diseases and communicate findings to the dentist
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Provide a comfortable, positive experience for patients of all ages
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license (state‑specific)
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene
CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required by state law)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and team members
Prior experience in a family dental practice is a plus
