Responsibilities
Provide individual, group, and family therapy as well as case management for children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 admitted to Hawthorn for treatment of mental disorders and trauma.
Participate in a multi‑disciplinary team and deliver direct clinical services to consumers and families to help reach treatment goals.
Offer evidence‑based therapeutic practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and trauma‑focused approaches.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with all institutional policies.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
Missouri licensure (LMSW or LCSW) or a commitment to obtaining licensure during employment; professional licensure supervision is available.
Experience or knowledge in DBT, CBT, and other trauma‑focused modalities is preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, generally 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday‑Friday, with occasional evening sessions.
