JOB DETAILS
Base Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour plus shift differential of $1.00
Shift available: 2nd shift: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, plus overtime when needed
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast‑paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.
Forklift experience is required.
Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass‑produce windows, doors, and glass units
May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
Understand and carry out verbal instructions
Read and carry out simple written instructions
Read work orders, labels, and schedules
Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
Make fraction and decimal conversions
Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
Perform other duties as assigned
Provide on‑the‑job training to new employ
Read and perform work as assigned by the department Supervisor
Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packaging
Notify supervisor of any mechanical or mater
Maintain a clean and safe work area
General labor
Qualifications
Forklift experience
High school diploma or GED Previous experience a plus
Good attitude
Team oriented
Dependable
Energetic
Flexible with either working day or night shifts and weekends if needed
Read a tape
Overhead crane and forklift experience a plus
Mechanically inclined
