Overview
Assistant Professor – M.S. in Cognitive Neuroscience at the CUNY Graduate Center, start date August 2026. Joint appointment with the Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Neuroscience (CCN). 50% teaching at CUNY, 50% research at CCN.
Responsibilities
Conduct an externally funded research program in computational cognitive neuroscience.
Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in cognitive neuroscience, computational methods, and statistics.
Mentor graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and summer students.
Participate in department service, committee work, and program development.
Qualifications
PhD in Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong record of peer‑reviewed publications and potential for external funding.
Expertise in computational modeling, machine learning, or data science applied to cognitive neuroscience.
Demonstrated teaching experience and commitment to graduate mentorship.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
