Job Description Southwest Nursing Center is a fantastic Long‑Term Care Facility. We are looking for outstanding Licensed Registered or Vocational Nurses who take pride in their work. The RN is responsible for resident care and directing nursing staff. The RN will develop the plan of care and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants, and monitor assigned staff to ensure safety regulations are upheld. Qualifications

Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and licensed in the state of practice.

Minimum 2 years in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred but not required.

Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.

Makes nursing diagnoses as basis for care strategy.

Collaborates with residents, physicians, therapists and nursing assistants.

Records medication administration and changes in patient condition.

Monitors assigned staff to ensure safety regulations and state/government regulations are followed.

Follows procedures related to nursing equipment and supplies.

Performs other duties as directed.
