Bilingual Mental Health Therapist
Looking Glass Community Services is seeking a driven, compassionate Bilingual Mental Health Therapist to provide culturally informed, effective mental‑health treatment to adolescents and families in a counseling program located in Eugene or Springfield, Oregon. The role supports clients in English and Spanish and offers remote telehealth flexibility.
Responsibilities
Provide individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and case management for youth and families.
Deliver culturally sensitive treatment in Spanish and English, ensuring quality and effective outcomes.
Develop, implement, and adapt therapeutic curriculum, including trauma‑informed practices and EMDR.
Supervise and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, schools, and community partners.
Maintain accurate therapeutic notes, treatment plans, and documentation in compliance with licensing standards.
Qualifications
Certified as a Qualified Mental Health Professional; must have licensure or be actively pursuing licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) within the first month of employment.
At least one year of direct treatment experience with children and adolescents with mental‑health issues.
Fluent in Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication in both Spanish and English.
Ability to work independently, collaborate with teams, and adapt to changing client needs.
Background in cultural competency, trauma‑informed care, and crisis management is preferred.
