Additional/Dual Appointment – PHYSICIAN AND SURGEON (IM/FP), CF, CCWF Vision & Mission We enhance public safety and promote successful community reintegration through education, treatment, and active participation in rehabilitative and restorative justice programs. We facilitate the successful reintegration of the individuals in our care back to their communities equipped with the tools to be drug‑free, healthy, and employable members of society by providing education, treatment, rehabilitative, and restorative justice programs in a safe and humane environment. CDCR and CCHCS strive to collaborate with the community to enhance public safety, promote successful community reintegration and provide the highest level of health care possible to a diverse correctional population.

Job Description and Duties PHYSICIAN AND SURGEON, CORRECTIONAL FACILITY (INTERNAL MED/FAMILY PRACTICE) $153.91 – $171.00 hourly rate. This is a limited‑term position that may be extended. The position will be located at Central California Women’s Facility, Chowchilla, CA, within Madera County. The appointment is dual; primary duties are in internal medicine and family practice, with up to 40 hours per month in a part‑time capacity. The work schedule is flexible and will be determined by the hiring location. Times worked will be outside normal hours and not considered overtime.
