Position Details This advertisement is for a Radiologic Technologist position located at Central California Women's Facility (CCWF), in Chowchilla, CA, located in Madera County. Position number: 381‑213‑9315‑002. This part‑time position will be working 20 hours per week. Please indicate the position number on your application.
Job Description and Duties
Performing radiologic examinations and taking x‑rays for a variety of body structures.
Instructing/leading other Radiologic Technologists, clerical staff, youthful offenders, or inmates.
Maintaining inventory, ordering required supplies, and handling storage/dispensing of supplies.
Maintaining and updating procedure manuals.
Coordinating maintenance services on machinery.
Assisting in the preparation of the radiologic department's annual budget.
Other related duties as assigned.
Effective July 1, 2025 Changes Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) requires each full‑time employee in Bargaining Units 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and related excluded, exempt, and statutory exempt employees to have their base salary reduced by 3% and receive 5 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part‑time employees are subject to the same conditions on a prorated basis.
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the California State Department of Health Services.
Either I: Two years of experience, including training under an accredited medical radiologist; or II: Successful completion of a two‑year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, in collaboration with the American College of Radiology.
Please note: A Training and Development (T&D) assignment will not be considered at this time.
