About the Department The Emergency Department provides comprehensive care including STEMI, Geriatric Level 2, Trauma Level 3, Primary Stroke, and SANE services. The department features 29 patient rooms and 2 triage rooms.
What You’ll Do
Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision‑making, and effective communication to create the safest patient environment and deliver the best patient experience.
We’re Looking For
Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (or within 6 months).
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or within 6 months).
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (or within 6 months).
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification (or within 12 months).
New graduates welcome to apply; passion for ED.
About the Location Aurora Medical Center – Grafton is a 132‑bed facility offering private patient rooms, family areas, and a range of specialized services. Supported by a team of more than 450 nurses, the center provides amenities such as meditation gardens, a welcoming cafeteria, and advanced technology. The facility is preparing for expansion, with a new patient tower scheduled for 2027.
