This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist serving students in grades K-12 within a school setting located in Lumberton, NC. The contract position spans the current school year and focuses on providing support to elementary, middle, and high school students.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students from pre-kindergarten through high school.
Work onsite, ensuring face-to-face intervention and collaboration with educational staff.
Supervise at least one Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support service delivery.
Adapt therapy plans and schedules to accommodate student needs and school requirements.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to effectively support student communication goals.
Qualifications And Desired Experience
Active North Carolina license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Experience working in school settings with a diverse caseload.
Ability to provide services across various age groups from early childhood to adolescents.
Strong skills in speech-language pathology; certification such as CCC‑SLP preferred.
Flexibility to work part-time (two days a week) or full-time (Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours weekly) depending on position.
Commitment to onsite service delivery; remote work is not applicable.
Work Schedule and Location
Full‑time position is available immediately through May 29, 2026.
Part‑time role requires flexibility with scheduling, focusing on pre-kindergarten and elementary students.
Both positions require onsite presence in Lumberton, NC.
