Direct Support Professional – GH 4 (1841)
Alternatives, Inc. in Phillipsburg, NJ is hiring a full‑time Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to support adults with developmental disabilities. This role offers a competitive wage of $20.25/hr ($22.25 on weekends) with opportunities for growth and a supportive community.

Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living (medication administration, meal preparation, personal hygiene, transportation to medical appointments).
Implement individualized behavioral plans and teach new skills using effective teaching and mentoring techniques.
Encourage client interests, facilitate community outings and recreational activities, and promote greater community access.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation; report health and safety concerns promptly.

Tuesday – 2pm to 10pm
Wednesday – 2pm to 10pm
Thursday – 2pm to 10pm
Friday – 2pm to 10pm
Saturday – 2pm to 10pm
Work Schedule The 24‑hour residential group homes offer a variety of shift options, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnight, and weekends.
Training All employees complete 10–15 trainings upon hire and regularly thereafter. Training is delivered in person at the main office in Raritan, NJ, and remotely via GoToMeeting. All trainings are paid.
