Clinician l-Region 4 Jail Team *SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE*

Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking a Clinician for the Region 4 Jail Team (Jail-Based Restoration Unit (JBRU) at Riverside Regional Jail (RRJ)). The role offers a sign‑on bonus for qualifying professionals and requires intermediate professional work providing direct clinical services to clients.
Essential Functions
Deliver competency restoration and therapeutic services to individuals and groups under clinical supervision.
Conduct assessments and contribute to treatment planning.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support client care.
Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case reviews.
Support crisis intervention and safety planning as needed.
Promote recovery‑oriented and trauma‑informed practices.
Provide discharge planning services, including engagement and rapport building, and refer clients to appropriate services (mental health, substance use, medical, and natural supports) while assisting in benefits applications.
Provide housing assistance; monitor the agreed‑upon support plan and transition services to community supports for continuity of care.
Collaborate and coordinate with Region 4 CSBs, including Housing Specialists and Peers, on a frequent basis.
Attend professional conferences and trainings as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
General knowledge of the principles and practices of providing care to individuals with emotional and behavioral disorders, serious mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or substance use disorders.
General knowledge of community resources, human services network, and community‑based behavioral health principles and psychotherapeutic treatment techniques.
Knowledge of counseling and crisis intervention theories and techniques.
Thorough knowledge of intake procedures and ability to evaluate and screen clients.
Ability to prepare adequate records, report findings and data effectively, and solve problems within scope of responsibility.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, supervisors, consultants, community partners, law enforcement, associates, and the general public.
