What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage and lead a small team, including budget responsibilities and contractor/vendor management
Oversee clinical trial conduct, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulations
Provide input on strategic direction for field monitoring and data collection in clinical trials
Develop and deliver technical training on regulatory compliance and clinical trial protocols
Identify and evaluate opportunities for clinical process improvements
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree in a related field with field monitoring experience in quality assurance/control and regulatory compliance
Ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally
Previous experience in managing clinical trials and understanding of clinical research processes
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to resolve complex issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including relationship management
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
8+ years of experience in cardiology trials
Master’s Degree in a related field
Clinical research certification (ACRP or SoCRA)
Proficiency in trial management systems (e.g., RAVE, CTMS, Veeva)
Proven project management leadership skills
