Pawnee Mental Health is a non-profit Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) serving individuals and families across 10 counties in North-Central Kansas. We support underserved communities by providing compassionate, community-based behavioral health care, and we are currently looking for a Registered Nurse who wants meaningful work without sacrificing work-life balance.

Behavioral Health RN , you play a key role in supporting clients through medication management, health education, and coordination of care. You will work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and care teams to ensure each client receives safe, effective, and respectful treatment.
This position offers the opportunity to use your nursing skills in a setting that values collaboration, consistency, and whole-person care, without the stress of nights, weekends, or hospital shifts.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Administer medications and monitor client responses
Conduct health assessments and document findings accurately
Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
Educate clients and families about medications, treatment plans, and healthy living practices
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Participate in care planning and client progress reviews
Schedule and Work-Life Balance
Monday through Friday,
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
No weekend shifts
Consistent daytime schedule

Requirements
Required
Current, unencumbered Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) certification
Strong oral and written communication skills using the English language
At least 2 years' nursing experience
Basic personal computing skills
Preferred
BSN strongly preferred
Bi-lingual capabilities
Experience with Microsoft Office software
