Job Description American Traveler is seeking a RN for a Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular Unit position requiring a KS or compact RN license and AHA BLS certification.
Responsibilities
Work in a 38-bed Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular Unit
No drip titrations required
RNs start IVs with IV team support available
No EKGs performed or sheath discontinuation responsibilities
Telemetry monitoring with remote telemetry utilized
Lab staff collect blood specimens
Uses Cerner OneChart EMR
Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
Ceil Blue scrubs required
Must provide two professional references and a copy of driver’s license for consideration
MOAB De-Escalation Training and NIH certification strongly encouraged but not required
COVID vaccination is not required
Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate based on facility radius guidelines
All positions are offered automatically upon meeting requirements
Requirements
Active KS or compact RN license
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Minimum of 1 year RN experience
Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
US Social Security Number and US home address required
