Oncology Sales Specialist

Join Syneos Health in partnership with a leading oncology diagnostics company as an Oncology Sales Specialist! The OSS serves as the primary customer owner of all assigned accounts within their territory. The OSS is responsible for calling on all stakeholders in the HNSCC community such as ENT’s, Radiation Oncologists, and care team members, identifying opportunities to expand share of care and acquire new customers, and managing the entire sales process within their operating budget.
Responsibilities
Achieve annual sales goals and maintain customer satisfaction within assigned territory.
Own the entire sales process for assigned accounts and develop relationships with key decision makers.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop account growth strategies and maintain territory coverage plans.
Provide routine service to key accounts, push product usage, and conduct in‑service training as needed.
Gather market feedback on customers, competitors, and conditions; provide accurate information on lost business and sales opportunities.
Meet product sales goals, maintain momentum in sales cycle, and overcome obstacles with a high work ethic.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred).
5+ Years Life Science Sales experience in Med Device, Diagnostics, or Pharmaceutical.
2+ Years recent experience selling to ENT/Otolaryngologists or in Oncology/Diagnostics.
Oncology diagnostics experience strongly preferred.
Consistent track record of documented sales accomplishments.
Proficiency with MS Office and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 50%-75% of the time (some overnight travel).
