Job Title Oncology Sales Specialist

Description Join Syneos Health in partnership with a leading oncology diagnostics company as an Oncology Sales Specialist. The OSS serves as the primary customer owner of all assigned accounts within their territory, calling on stakeholders such as ENT specialists, radiation oncologists, and care team members. The role identifies opportunities to expand share of care and acquire new customers in the HNSCC community to support an exciting diagnostic product launch. The OSS owns the entire sales process for assigned accounts, operates within their operating budget, and maintains a territory coverage plan with sales management.

Responsibilities

Achieves annual sales goals through efficient management and satisfaction of customer needs within the assigned territory.

Owns the entire sales process for assigned accounts.

Develops and maintains relationships with key decision makers.

Collaborates with stakeholders to develop strategies for account growth.

Provides routine service to key assigned accounts.

Properly sells and supports utilization of the key product as directed.

Communicates regularly with all members of the assigned territory team.

Performs product in-service training to ensure customer satisfaction.

Provides frequent market feedback on customers, product, competition, and market conditions.

Develops and maintains territory‑specific information on competitors and distributors.

Delivers accurate information on lost business.

Achieves product sales goals; maintains momentum in the sales cycle; is self‑disciplined, self‑directed, and overcomes obstacles to create sales opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred).

5+ years in Life Science Sales (medical device, diagnostics, or pharmaceutical).

2+ years recent experience selling to ENT/Otolaryngologists, or experience in oncology, diagnostics, or related areas.

Oncology diagnostics experience strongly preferred.

Consistent track record of documented sales accomplishments.

Proficient with MS Office programs.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to travel as required by role (50%-75% of the time; some overnight travel may be required).

Compensation The annual compensation range for this position is $200k–$235k. Actual compensation will vary based on qualifications, skills, and performance. Some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonuses.
