Clinical Research Assistant (term limited) Job Summary This entry‑level position on the Michigan Medicine CRC Career Ladder provides administrative and coordination support for non‑interventional research projects such as registries, retrospective data reviews, long‑term follow‑up studies, and other clinical research projects.

The role will support a research team in the Cardiovascular Medicine Division led by Dr. J. Brian Byrd.

Responsibilities

Extract information from charts for a research project related to conditions that can cause high blood pressure.

Follow an agreed‑upon protocol and reliably record information.

Seek clarification of the protocol when ambiguities arise.

Create and maintain a RedCap database to store the resulting information (desirable).

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.

MD or MBBS degree or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.

Experience with clinical research.

Additional Information Term‑limited appointment. At the end of the stated term, the appointment will terminate and will not be eligible for Reduction‑in‑Force (RIF) benefits. The appointment does not create a contract or guarantee of employment for any period of time.
