Salary Range:
USD $67,000.00–$82,000.00 per year.
Position Overview SUS Wellness Works offers a full-time Psychotherapist at our outpatient mental health clinic. The Psychotherapist will provide psychotherapy, manage a caseload of adults and children with serious mental illness, maintain electronic health records, and coordinate services with other providers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide clinical treatment in accordance with scope of practice and Article 31 regulations.
Monitor the integrity of consumer data and document services in compliance with SUS policies and NYSOMH regulations.
Coordinate outreach and marketing to potential referral sources and serve as liaison with community service providers, hospitals, and other prospective referral sources.
Coordinate care with SUS nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, and administrative staff; collaborate with clinicians external to SUS as appropriate.
Utilize best evidence‑based approaches consistent with SUS culture, emphasizing health/mental health integration, rehabilitation, recovery, and wellness.
Qualifications
LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LCAT required.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
High computer literacy.
Experience in an Article 31 Mental Health Clinic.
Familiarity with recovery‑oriented, evidence‑based clinical practice.
Experience with dual‑diagnosed individuals.
Experience with diverse populations.
Availability to provide services in the community (off‑site) based on treatment needs or crisis.
Bi‑lingual Spanish preferred.
