Pay: $26 - $35 per hour with shift differential
Summary The Registered Nurse/ LPN plays an essential role in the delivery of treatment at Pyramid Healthcare. The primary function of this role is providing direct nursing services to clients in adult substance‑use treatment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Properly communicates and guides LPN’s in client care responsibilities and assignments
Complete initial Nursing Assessment with new admissions
Medication administration
Knowledge and delivery of withdraw management protocols where applicable
Complete COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol where applicable
Provide medication education to clients
Coordinate and support Medical providers with initial assessments and medication management appointments
Maintain medical equipment in proper working order
Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications Licensure, Education, & Experience (All States)
Current unencumbered RN/ LPN license in state of practice required.
Current CPR/BLS, and First Aid required.
Background or experience in a behavioral health treatment setting preferred
Background in Substance Use Treatment and Co‑occurring Disorders preferred.
Job Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Sound judgment and excellent nursing skills
Ability to problem solve by gathering and analyzing information
Ability to handle a crisis and or potential risk situation and react appropriately
A working knowledge of federal and state standards as well as regulating body and compliance standards.
Upholding staff code of ethics and boundaries
