Pawnee Mental Health is a non‑profit Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) helping underserved populations in 10 counties of North‑Central Kansas. We seek a teammate who will provide trauma‑informed, evidence‑based mental health therapy to individuals, families, and groups in an outpatient setting.
Base pay range:
$100,000.00/yr – $100,000.00/yr. Additional bonus up to $12,000 per year for meeting client‑care expectations and holding groups.

Location & Service Area The position is based at the Manhattan office and requires providing services in Marysville approximately 1–2 times per week to support client needs across our service area.
Responsibilities
Provide mental health therapy services to a wide variety of client systems in an outpatient setting, diagnosing and treating mental health disorders.
Deliver trauma‑informed, evidence‑based therapy to individuals, families, and groups.
Collaborate with other treatment team members, natural supports, and external providers to ensure a wrap‑around approach for continuity of client care.
Create and maintain person‑centered treatment plans based on clients' unique needs.
Monitor client progress through ongoing assessment and timely documentation according to agency standards.
Demonstrate sensitivity to all cultural and ethnic differences.
Complete agency trainings up to and including certification in evidence‑based treatment models.
Provide psycho‑educational services to the community as assigned by Supervisor or Director.
Qualifications Required:
Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work or related field
Current, active, unencumbered license as an LPC, LMFT, LMLP, or LMSW (temporary license eligible for up to 2 years)
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment in routine, urgent, and emergent situations
Ability to provide therapy to youth and adults across the lifespan (ages 5+)
Ability and desire to work as part of a clinical team while also being self‑directed and motivated with minimal supervision
Strong time‑management and prioritization skillsLinearItem 1
Ability to acquire and effectively practice new clinical skills as needed
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred:
Independent clinical license (LCPC, LCMFT, LCP, LP, LSCSW)
Experience/training in TF‑CBT, ABFT, or other evidence‑based practice
1 year experience providing group therapy
