Overview
We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to cover a maternity leave. The time frame is from March through the end of May. We are flexible on the dates and times and will work with your schedule if you have any free days! We are looking for 1-5 days. Please reach out to inquire further.
Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, familiarity with dental software systems, sterilization and be timely. The individual may expect to see all ages of patients from pediatric to the elderly.
Duties
Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing to maintain optimal oral health.
Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review.
Take X-Rays.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans.
Review and document patient records accurately in Eaglesoft.
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures.
Manage patient documentation review and medical coding for billing purposes.
Support pediatric dentistry cases by providing specialized care tailored to children’s needs.
Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to OSHA standards and HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient outcomes through effective communication and documentation.
Experience
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current state certification.
Prior experience working in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or dental clinics is preferred.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
