Responsibilities
Prescribe medication dosage, routes, and frequencies based on clients need.
Analyze and interpret clients’ history, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice.
Diagnose or treat acute health care problems such as illnesses or infections.
Prescribe medications based on efficacy, safety, and cost as legally required to do so.
Inform clients about drug regimens, side effects or interactions with other substances such as food supplements, over‑the‑counter (OTC) medications, and herbal remedies.
Recommend interventions to modify behavior associated with health.
Educate clients about self‑management of acute or chronic illnesses by providing tailored instructions.
Understand Electronic Health Record, utilize it, and ensure records are completed based on company and licensure policy and regulatory requirements.
Work with a team of professionals to provide quality care to the client.
Provide weekly and monthly supervision for staff development.
Conduct weekly meetings with the clinical team.
Meet with Supervisor on a weekly basis.
Perform clinical assessments to determine an appropriate level of care for clients via in‑person or face‑to‑face encounters.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Nursing or Science of Nursing related fields.
Must have 3–5 years’ experience as a practicing Certified Nurse Practitioner.
Current Nurse Practitioner Certified from AANP or ANCC.
Current Nursing License as a Certified Nurse Practitioner.
