Pay Range Base pay: $70,579 – $89,645 per year.
Duties
Provide direct clinical services to youth and families.
Serve as a primary member of the youth’s support team.
Assist the team in understanding youth holistically and in contextualizing behaviors related to placement.
Facilitate insight, cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and spiritual growth and wellness.
Minimum Qualifications
One year of Permanent Competitive or 55 B/C Service in this title or eligible for 70.1 Transfer.
Possession of a license and current registration as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State.
Maintain a valid New York State license and registration.
Background Investigation Requirements
Criminal Background Check includes State and federal records.
Screened against the Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment.
For DJJOY prospective appointees, checked against the Staff Exclusion List.
