Automation Specialist
Keystone Engineering Group, Inc. is a Professional Engineering Firm and Systems Integrator with 25+ years of experience in Design and Design-Build services for Water, Wastewater, and private industries. We have five offices located in Southeast Pennsylvania, Northeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Lewes Delaware, and Seaford Delaware.

Required Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Automation, Industrial Technology, or related field
3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial automation or controls programming
Experience with OT networking and industrial communication protocols
Certifications in industrial networking or control systems (e.g., CCNA with OT focus)
Possess strong interpersonal skills and approachability in demeanor to work effectively with peers and clients
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and work independently to meet deadlines and stay within budget parameters on an ongoing basis
Expertise in advanced PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Function Block, Structured Text) and HMI software
Strong PLC, HMI, and SCADA skills (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, VTScada, Ignition, or similar)
Knowledge of I&C systems used in water/wastewater industry
Skilled in QC testing of control systems
Knowledgeable in development of QA standards
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and network diagrams
Experience with industrial communication troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, RSLogix/Studio 5000, TIA Portal, FactoryTalk View)
Familiarity with commissioning and field validation of complex automation systems
Responsibilities:
Program, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems to include Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider
Troubleshoot electromechanical control systems including single phase and 3-phase power feeds and control wiring terminations
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial networks, including Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, Profinet, and VLANs
Configure, maintain and troubleshoot radio and cellular telemetry systems
Develop, document, and execute QC plans for automation systems
Assist with development and enforcement of QA practices for programming policies and standards
Perform system integration, commissioning, and functional testing for new and upgraded automation projects
Create and maintain PLC logic documentation, wiring diagrams, and network schematics
Provide technical support for troubleshooting, performance optimization, and maintenance of existing systems
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Perform other related duties as assigned
