Full-time CNC Programmer Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Mastercam Programming, CNC Machining, and HAAS Controls. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and accurate production of precision parts and components for various industries.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam software for a variety of complex parts and materials

Create detailed setup sheets, tool lists, and operation sequences for CNC machine operators

Collaborate with design engineers, production managers, and machine operators to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing processes

Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules

Implement and maintain programming standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all CNC operations

Continuously improve manufacturing processes through the application of advanced programming techniques and strategies

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CNC technology, CAM software, and machining techniques

Provide technical support and training to CNC machine operators as needed

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to CNC machining operations

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness

Detailed Role Description As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for translating engineering designs and specifications into precise CNC programs that guide our state-of-the-art machining centers. Your expertise in Mastercam Programming will be crucial in creating efficient toolpaths, optimizing cutting strategies, and maximizing machine utilization.

You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to analyze part geometries, material properties, and manufacturing requirements. Using your in-depth knowledge of CNC machining principles and HAAS Controls, you will develop programs that ensure the highest levels of accuracy, surface finish, and overall part quality.

A significant aspect of your role will involve problem-solving and continuous improvement. You will be expected to identify opportunities for process optimization, reduce cycle times, and minimize tool wear and material waste. This may include implementing advanced programming techniques such as high-speed machining, trochoidal milling, or adaptive clearing strategies.

Your responsibilities will extend beyond programming to include the creation of comprehensive setup documentation. You will prepare detailed setup sheets, tool lists, and operation sequences that provide clear instructions to our CNC machine operators. This documentation is critical in ensuring consistent and efficient production across multiple shifts and machines.

Troubleshooting and technical support are also key components of this position. You will be called upon to diagnose and resolve programming issues, machine alarms, and other production challenges. Your ability to quickly identify root causes and implement effective solutions will be essential in maintaining high levels of productivity and minimizing costly downtime.

As an experienced CNC Programmer, you will also play a mentoring role within our organization. You may be asked to provide training and guidance to junior programmers and machine operators, sharing your knowledge and best practices to elevate
