is looking for experienced Construction Superintendent for a per-project role. The construction superintendent will conduct periodic site visits to oversee construction progress, verify materials and workmanship, and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role focuses on field inspections and detailed reporting to support project management.
Responsibilities
Site Oversight: Conduct site visits and supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications.
Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with trades, subcontractors, and site workers to maintain open communication and strong teamwork.
Quality & Safety: Support quality control by performing routine checks on progress and promoting adherence to safety standards.
Scheduling Support: Assist in tracking tasks and timelines using project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
Budget Awareness: Help monitor jobsite expenses and ensure efficient use of materials and resources.
Progress Reporting: Contribute to site reporting by noting key observations, delays, and project needs.
Qualifications
Prior experience in similar site-based roles within the construction industry.
Must hold a valid OSHA 30-Hour certification.
Familiarity with construction scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to quality and safety.
Working Conditions On call per project
Location:
Site visits mainly in DC, Maryland and Virginia
