Commensurate with qualifications. Full‑time, 40 hours per week, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with possibility of evenings and weekends.
Position Summary Lead employer engagement initiatives, manage key partnerships, and provide strategic data analysis to inform decision‑making across UGA.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Director of Employer Relations and the Office of Business Engagement to manage current and prospective employer relationships.
Develop and refine systems to assess and track industry partnerships and engagement levels.
Conduct corporate site visits and outreach to increase employer participation in Career Center events.
Provide consultation to employers seeking campus engagement.
Support and grow the UGA Career Center Employer Partners Program.
Super one full‑time staff member and one student staff member, providing guidance and performance feedback.
Serve as liaison to career consultants, offering strategic guidance and professional development initiatives.
Collaborate with campus stakeholders to promote Career Center services and maintain referral networks.
Lead implementation of employer relations initiatives and coordinate in‑state and out‑of‑state career treks.
Develop recruiting plans, organize interdisciplinary career fairs, and establish pipelines between employers and student organizations.
Provide strategic leadership in data collection, analysis, and reporting for employer engagement metrics.
Maintain accurate records using Handshake Employer Relationship Management tools.
Partner with the Office of Alumni Relations, Office of Development, and Communications for alumni and external engagement.
Represent Career Center at national and regional events and participate in signature events such as Resume Critique Days, Mock Interview Days, UGA Orientation, and the Career Outcomes Survey.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent, with 5 years of professional experience.
Master’s degree in higher education, student personnel administration, counseling, or related field preferred.
Career services experience, particularly in advising and career counseling, is preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across campus and with employer populations.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills.
Project and program management experience.
Data analytics experience and proficiency.
Leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
