Position Summary The Surgical Technician is responsible for preparing surgical instruments, supplies, and the operating field in accordance with the physician’s documented preferences and procedural protocols. This role supports the surgical team by performing routine and delegated tasks to ensure a safe, efficient, and sterile environment for patient care.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent, required
Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited Surgical Technology program, required
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), preferred but not required
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification, required
Advances Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), preferred
