In-Person | Full-Time | Exempt
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

What You’ll Do
Lead day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and transaction processing (excluding billing)
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variances, and trend reports for the CFO and leadership
Oversee treasury management, cash flow, and banking relationships
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations across all programs
Strengthen and maintain internal controls to safeguard organizational assets
Partner with program leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision‑making
Oversee the development and submission of the annual PACE Part D bid to CMS
Support financial strategic planning, growth initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
Collaborate with Development on restricted funds, capital campaigns, and donor reporting
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a positive, collaborative team culture
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Demonstrated managerial experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
Knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles
Valid KS or MO driver’s license with insurable driving record
Preferred
CPA and/or MBA
Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or complex multi‑program environments
