Base Pay Range $19.00/hr - $27.00/hr

Position Summary As a Freight Flow Associate you will perform a wide range of responsibilities that support the day‑to‑day operations of Sam’s Club. Your work will involve managing inventory flow, operating forklifts, maintaining safety and shopping experiences, and delivering member service. You will also uphold the highest standards of ethics, integrity, teamwork, and customer focus to help Sam’s Club meet its mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities

Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics by implementing action plans and applying the Open Door Policy.

Operate forklifts safely to pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets.

Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources while collaborating with managers, coworkers and customers.

Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers, managing inventory flow and log‑keeping according to policy.

Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and supporting self‑service technology and purchasing decisions.

Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials safely, and reporting unsafe situations.

Maintain sales floor presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged goods, setting up displays, and monitoring security risks.

Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled and staged correctly, performing audits for accuracy.

Handle moves and displays of goods, maintain in‑stock levels, control shrinkage, and report poor inventory practices.

Proactively identify customers who need help, engage them, and provide technology services and product guidance.

Qualifications

90 days of prior forklift certification and experience.

Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.

Minimum age 18 years.

Preferred: Customer service experience, retail experience, and supervisory experience.
