Training Specialist - DEV Customer Experience

We’re looking for a Training Specialist to help develop our customer service colleagues and deliver an outstanding customer experience. This role involves classroom and web‑based training, instructional design, and facilitation.
We offer a hybrid 3‑2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking). Military service members and veterans with ranks E3‑E5, W1‑W2, or O1‑O3 and appropriate education/experience will be considered. This position does not sponsor work visas, nor does it offer relocation assistance.
Job Summary
This role is responsible for developing training materials that meet identified objectives and comply with development standards, maintaining expertise as an instructional technologist, facilitating sessions as needed, and performing other duties as requested.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Full knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, and technology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Skilled using instructional design tools, multimedia development (video, audio, etc.), and CBT software (Captivate, Adobe, etc.).
Strong analysis and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to determine the appropriate blend of instructor‑led, self‑directed, and experiential training.
Develop and maintain partnerships with stakeholders and third‑party vendors to align training with business objectives.
Work with business partners and subject matter experts to identify new training needs.
Proven organizational and project‑management skills.
Ability to train and lead others.
Ability to process information and questions quickly and develop solutions.
Education Requirements
Minimum 3+ years directly related experience (a Master’s degree counts as one year).
Bachelor’s degree preferred; preferred disciplines include Education, Adult Learning; other disciplines may be substituted.
Working Conditions
Office work environment: 76‑100%.
Travel up to 25%.
