The Program Manager reports directly to the Program Director. This position is based in Bridgeton, NJ and oversees our group home.
Salary $58,000 - $67,000
Responsibilities
Plans and implements the occupational, recreational, social and other developmental plans designed for each individual in their care.
Ensures internal and external facilities of the program are maintained to present Devereux as a good neighbor and welcomed member of the community.
Responsible for all the staff within their assigned program(s) inclusive of hiring, performance management, attendance management, payroll accuracy and training compliance of each team member.
Ensures all shifts within the program are adequately covered.
Supervises planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of our individuals.
Plans and participates in group outings for our individuals.
Manages shopping for the home’s necessities, such as food, clothing, and household items.
Schedules and transports our individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.
Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED. Bachelor's in a related field preferred.
Valid non‑provisional driver's license.
Able to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
Two years experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
Empathetic and team‑oriented approach to care.
