A Day in the Life of a Founding BDR As a BDR, you'll be at the forefront of our client’s growth engine, introducing the company to mid-market decision-makers across a variety of industries. You'll work closely with the Growth team to generate qualified leads, build repeatable outreach strategies, and set the tone for future BDR hires.
Responsibilities include:
Make a high volume of cold calls daily to book discovery meetings
Own outreach end-to-end: script execution, objection handling, and handoff
Research prospects in real time to personalize each conversation
Help shape outbound strategy, talk tracks, and sales messaging
Collaborate with the Growth team to refine playbooks and outreach strategy
Participate in weekly reviews to evaluate and improve performance
Requirements and Qualifications:
2+ years of BDR/SDR experience
Prior experience in outbound sales, cold calling, and appointment setting
Strong passion for sales and commitment to mastering the craft
High energy, self-driven, and reliable in a remote environment
Clear, confident communicator, especially on the phone
Comfortable engaging with executive-level prospects
Personality that demonstrates self-motivation, integrity, and an ability to collaborate with others
