About The Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team in a fast-paced, heavy industrial manufacturing environment at our Jamison and Fredericksburg locations. This role will play a critical part in supporting our workforce, with a strong emphasis on employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and workforce engagement. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, comfortable working closely with production teams, and committed to fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted partner to employees and leaders on HR-related matters, with a focus on employee relations and workplace culture.
Manage full-cycle recruiting, hiring, and onboarding for hourly production and salaried roles.
Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
Create, update, and roll out company policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with employment law and business needs.
Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
Develop and facilitate orientation and onboarding programs to ensure a positive new‑hire experience that reflects our collaborative and respectful culture.
Partner with operations leadership to drive employee engagement, retention, and recognition programs.
Administer HR processes, including leaves of absence, benefits, and attendance management.
Collaborate with leadership on continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean tools and a creative mindset to enhance HR processes and the employee experience.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
Willingness to travel between Fredericksburg and Culpeper, VA.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Proven experience in employee relations, recruitment, and onboarding.
Demonstrated experience in policy development and implementation.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict‑resolution skills that promote a respectful workplace.
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
Experience with UKG a plus.
Experience with Lean manufacturing principles a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume production environment while staying sustainable in approach.
