Project Scheduler II – E&C
Contract assignment – 1 year (W-2) with Westinghouse Electric Company.
Position is located in Juno Beach, Florida. The candidate will join the project scheduling team of the Engineering and Construction division.
Responsibilities
Report to the group manager and create, maintain, and progress project schedules using Primavera P6 Software.
Prepare monthly reports for construction projects comparing baseline approved schedules to progress schedules.
Conduct critical path method analysis, resource loading, cost loading, manpower submittal analysis and evaluate update impacts to aid in recovery plan development.
Act as a key member of the scheduling team in support of project teams working on various technologies to drive project success through the entire life cycle.
Develop effective and accurate schedules, coordinate multidisciplinary meetings and report to management for a portfolio of projects.
Skill Requirements
4+ years of Primavera P6 scheduling software experience.
6 – 10 years of overall project scheduling experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management or similar field, or applicable experience.
Team player who can interact with all project participants to gather scope, logistics, and constraints for inclusion in the plan.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead schedule review meetings and coordinate requirements.
Strong bias for action-oriented performers; analytical mindset; ability to review, criticize and validate external information.
Strong process management, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
Ability to report project status & variances to management clearly and concisely.
