Location: On-site — Lawrenceburg, TN
Type: Full-Time | Healthcare Facility
Salary Range: $85,000 — $100,000 (Based on experience)
Lead Facilities Operations in a Critical Healthcare Environment We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee operations at a healthcare facility where safety, compliance, and system reliability are essential to supporting patient care. As the primary point of contact for all facility‑related matters, you’ll lead plant operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage vendors, and drive performance across all critical infrastructure. What You’ll Do
Lead & Supervise: Manage the plant operations team, ensuring smooth daily operations, maintenance execution, and adherence to safety standards.
Healthcare Compliance: Ensure all building systems and maintenance practices align with state, federal, and healthcare‑specific regulations (e.g., NFPA101 Life Safety, infection control, hazardous materials).
Financial Oversight: Own and manage the facilities operating budget, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising service or safety.
Monitor Performance: Track KPIs/SLAs and implement action plans to address underperformance or compliance risks.
Coordinate Vendors & Projects: Oversee contracted work, ensure vendor accountability, and support critical maintenance or infrastructure projects—including off‑hours supervision if needed.
Training & Safety: Ensure staff is properly trained and consistently follows safety protocols. Promote a culture of responsibility, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
Maintain Systems: Guarantee reliability and regulatory compliance of all building systems—HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and emergency systems.
Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: Work with senior leadership and partner departments to align facilities operations with broader organizational goals.
What You Bring Required
5 years of experience in facilities management, plant operations, engineering, or maintenance leadership.
Experience supervising technical and administrative staff in a regulated environment.
Proven success managing budgets and vendors.
Strong knowledge of building systems and facilities compliance standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and CMMS/Work Order systems.
Availability to oversee off‑hours and weekend work as needed.
Valid driver’s license.
Healthcare facility experience strongly preferred.
Preferred
Degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related technical field.
Professional certifications such as CHFM, CPMM, or CFM.
Experience overseeing multiple facilities or supporting complex healthcare environments.
