Position Summary:
The AMI Data Analyst team delivers high-quality AMI and MV90 data to the GPC billing systems, ensuring continuous availability and accuracy of meter data across multiple platforms. The analyst monitors daily performance, identifies operational exceptions, collaborates with partner teams, and develops processes to improve data collection.
Working Hours:
6:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday with occasional on‑call assignments.
Job Responsibilities
Assure continuous availability of high‑quality data from AMI/MV‑90 systems to C2M/MDM by resolving data exceptions.
Provide daily monitoring of AMI/MV‑90 system performance.
Analyze conditions, processes, and systems that interrupt data flow.
Coordinate with field resources to collect billing data and improve billing performance.
Report operational activities as required.
Provide training to other departments on the AMI portion of the billing process.
Communicate system and infrastructure issues through the support team.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills)
A four‑year degree in business, computer systems, or engineering is preferred.
Minimum of 3+ years in Customer Services, Metering Services, Distribution Operations, or a Technology Organization.
Working knowledge of CIS (CSS), ARMS, WattNet Plus, Itron MV‑90, and Sensus preferred.
Basic knowledge of residential and commercial rate applications.
Understanding of GPC Customer Service standards preferred.
Familiarity with metering equipment and field operations preferred.
Ability to manage complex technology and business issues.
Experience performing data analysis and reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent typing/keyboarding skills, including #10 keypad use.
