Entry Level General Production Assembly
– Pro-Active Engineering
Pro-Active Engineering is looking for candidates to join our General Production & Assembly team. This entry‑level position offers training in IPC Standards and hands‑on experience assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Responsibilities
Follow internal assembly process documentation to ensure product meets internal, customer and regulatory requirements.
Depanelize PCBs and perform hand insertion of through‑hole components to Class 2 IPC standards.
Trim, clip, tin wires and leads; prepare raw components for secondary operations.
Wash finished PCB assemblies, label or mark boards, and keep an accurate count of product at workstation.
Apply glue, epoxy, mask and conformal coating to circuit boards.
Program and functionally test circuit boards.
Package and box assemblies for shipping.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Basic knowledge of electronic components and equipment.
Physical requirements: prolonged periods of sitting, manual dexterity with small parts, and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
U.S. citizenship or applicable status for ITAR compliance (details provided in application instructions).
