Regional Property Manager – Multifamily Indianapolis, IN (Regional Coverage)

My client, a well‑capitalized and growing

multifamily real estate owner/operator , is seeking an experienced

Regional Property Manager

to oversee a portfolio of communities across the

Indianapolis and surrounding Indiana markets . This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational performance, team development, and asset value across multiple properties.

The Role The Regional Property Manager will provide strategic and hands‑on leadership to on‑site Property Managers and teams, ensuring consistent execution of operational standards, financial performance, and resident experience across the portfolio. This role partners closely with ownership and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee operations for a regional portfolio of multifamily communities

Lead, mentor, and support Property Managers and on‑site teams

Drive occupancy, leasing velocity, renewals, and resident retention

Review and manage budgets, forecasts, expenses, and NOI performance

Implement operational strategies to improve asset performance

Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, local regulations, and company policies

Conduct regular property visits, audits, and performance reviews

Support capital improvements, renovations, and value‑add initiatives

Partner with maintenance leadership to ensure preventive maintenance and service standards

Prepare and present performance reports to ownership and leadership

Required Experience

Proven experience as a

Regional Property Manager within multifamily housing

Strong track record overseeing multiple assets and teams

Deep understanding of leasing strategy, revenue management, and operations

Solid financial acumen including budgets, forecasting, and cost control

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Experience with property management systems and reporting tools

Ability to travel regionally as required
