Performing any task necessary to ensure a high quality customer experience

Ready to work in a fast paced environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask

Coordinate food orders to guarantee timely and efficient delivery to guests

Maintain high food safety and sanitation standards

Responsibilities

Consistently keep the kitchen organized and clean

Know dining room table numbers and positions

Set up kitchen work station to assist Chef on expediting of the food off the line

Deliver and serve food entrees to the guest

Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day

Have knowledge of and understand the food menus

Know FORBES standards

Complete requisition for daily ordering of supplies

Be able to take instruction from the Chef working the line

Complete closing duties, including restocking items, set up for the next shift

Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards

Anticipate and address guests’ service needs

Speak with others using clear and professional language

Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

Adhere to departmental policies and procedures

Effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employees

Perform related duties as required

Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property

Subscribe to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by Company policy

Be courteous to all guests and coworkers

Qualifications

Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational individual

Must be able to speak and comprehend English

Must have valid Food Handler’s Card

Must have basic knowledge of food terminology

Must be able to lift and hold a minimum of 25 lbs.

Ability to implement and uphold service standards

Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments

Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort

Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time

Experience, Education, & Licensure

At least 2 years of experience in fine dining

High School diploma preferred

Have at least 2 years of experience in bartending, in addition to knowledge of French/Italian/Californian cuisine preferred

Hotel experience preferred

Available to work Weekends and Holidays

Compensation Base Pay Start Rate: $16.50
