Travel RN Job Details

Location: Westminster, Colorado (Float assignments within 60 miles of city center)

Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Telemetry Float Pool)

Specialty: Telemetry, MedSurg, Float Pool Nursing

Assignment Duration: 14 weeks (Start: 11/3/2025 End: 2/7/2026)

Shift: 12-hour day shifts

Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)

Number of Openings: 5

Estimated Weekly Pay: $1930$2070

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a participating NLC state (required)

Associate Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required)

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required)

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry or MedSurg nursing (required)

Ability and willingness to float to any healthcare facility within 60 miles of Westminster as needed

Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patients physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of clinical data

Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection

Provide patient and family education, assess learning readiness, and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching

Advocate for patient health, safety, and rights in all clinical settings

Deliver relationship-based care with respect for cultural diversity and inclusion

Delegate appropriate tasks to non-RN healthcare personnel according to policy

Serve as a professional role model and mentor for new nursing staff and students

Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and nursing research activities

Maintain accurate professional records and pursue ongoing nursing education

Adapt to floating assignments across various hospital units and healthcare facilities as needed
