Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician 2-2-3, 2-2-3 schedule, every other weekend off.
This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair production machinery, auxiliary equipment, and automation systems.
Install power supply wiring, conduit, and components for new machines and plant systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical problems.
Perform repairs, test equipment, and validate proper operation.
Complete preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
Operate welding tools and cutting torches to cut or join metal parts.
Install, program, or repair electrical apparatus and machine components.
Maintain and repair building structures and facility systems.
Enter, update, and close work orders in the maintenance system.
Order required parts and materials for maintenance projects.
Promote and maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Identify and report safety concerns, near misses, and improvement opportunities.
Support company goals related to zero waste, recycling, safety, and quality.
Uphold food safety and regulatory responsibilities, promptly reporting concerns and taking appropriate corrective actions within your scope.
Qualifications & Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment maintaining automated equipment preferred
Previous experience working with and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems required
Ability to read electrical and hydraulic diagrams for troubleshooting.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems effectively.
