We're seeking an experienced RT with at least 1 year of recent acute care experience for an immediate travel placement.
Responsibilities:
Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function and report malfunctions to the director.
Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
Collaborate with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care.
Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
Physical requirements include standing and walking for long periods, bending, leaning, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Must have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience.
Valid NBRC certification.
ACLS and BLS certifications; PALS and NRP may be required for some areas.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Compensation:
$1,908 per week based on a 12‑hour shift schedule; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
