Job Description American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a long‑term acute care hospital requiring a current NC or compact RN license and every other weekend availability.
Responsibilities
Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit within a long‑term acute care hospital setting
Night shift schedule with 12‑hour shifts (19:00 to 07:00), three shifts per week
Every other weekend required
Float within scope or between similar units as needed
Epic EMR is used in this facility
Wear royal blue and white scrubs as per dress code
No on‑call responsibilities for this role
Holiday and time‑off requests subject to manager’s discretion
Block scheduling requests considered
Two professional supervisory references from the past two years required for consideration
Requirements
Active NC or compact RN license required at time of application
Previous MS/Tele and LTAC nursing experience required
First‑time travelers are not considered
Must reside outside a 50‑mile radius from the facility
Return staff must be gone at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
Maximum of 2 contracts before a 6‑month break is required
