What You Will Be Doing

Conducting adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension

Creating individualized motivational experiences that engage children and foster a lasting passion for reading

Evaluating student performance metrics to iteratively improve your methods and generate meaningful insights

Partnering with the engineering team to assess and refine AI-based literacy platforms

Basic Requirements

Instructional Coordinator key responsibilities

Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)

Minimum 2 years of documented experience providing small‑group reading interventions to early elementary students

Demonstrated ability to assess reading proficiency, organize student groupings, and create differentiated instruction independent of prepackaged curricula

Experience working with AI/adaptive learning platforms and adjusting to student interaction patterns within these systems

Legal work authorization in the U.S. with no requirement for sponsorship

Availability to work on-site at one of our campus locations: Chantilly (Washington), VA; Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; or New York City, NY

Working with us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
