ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle the administration, planning, and scheduling of various campus programs and activities such as the drug and alcohol program, Step UP! training, stress management support group, and Mental Health Expo.
Act as the primary administrator for the Maxient reporting system used for student conduct, Title IX allegations, and academic alerts, ensuring documentation and follow‑up with involved parties.
Coordinate Timely Care services, including mental health, medical, and life coaching services.
Assist the COL 101 Coordinator with scheduling and documentation.
Update the Student Handbook.
Triage student concerns by facilitating intake forms, scheduling appointments, making internal department/resource referrals, and assisting with Timely Care account setup.
Perform administrative responsibilities such as ordering supplies, updating and maintaining the department website and portal pages, maintaining departmental documentation, assisting with event planning, facilitating renewal of departmental contracts, assisting with budget management, creating purchase orders, and providing general administrative support.
Submit required reports including Annual Drug & Alcohol notifications, Biennial Drug and Alcohol Report, Copyright notifications, Campus Lake Apartments Student Information, and NCCBP Academic Integrity Reporting in conjunction with Institutional Research.
Serve as a member of the Student Conduct Committee, managing the electronic database (Maxient) for student conduct, early alert, academic reinstatement, student success, and academic integrity cases; make referrals to appropriate persons/agencies and follow up with faculty/staff regarding Maxient reports.
Confere with faculty, staff, and administration, as well as outside agencies/institutions, to update student handbook annually and produce other informational pieces as needed.
Research protocols and best practices for SCC, identify resources available to SCC students, and propose new programs.
Collaborate with career services manager on the 180‑day graduate survey and annual job fair; serve as a member of the job fair committee.
Update and create new webpages and the SCC portal as required.
Conduct background checks and enrollment verifications for FBI, college applications, employment, etc.
Order office supplies, brochures, pamphlets, giveaways, and prepare purchase orders.
Arrange meetings, conference registrations, manage budget, create brochures and handouts for meetings, and work with the dean on the annual plan as needed.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school, or six months or more related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred skills include use of Lumens Course Management software, Datatel, Microsoft Office applications, publishing software, typing skills, marketing knowledge, customer service skills, general office procedures, and knowledge of non‑credit operations.
