Travel Responsibilities
Work on 2 West unit, a 30-bed medical surgical floor Maintain patient ratio of 1:6 Work with equipment including wound vac, heparin drips, suction, IV pumps, glucometers, bladder scanner, feeding pumps, and telemetry Use Editech documentation system Support includes 2-3 techs per shift, clinical coordinator, charge nurse, manager, and director Must have skills in IV starts, NGT placement, wound care, and cardiac rhythms Advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation skills needed Perform procedures including lab draws and IV starts BLS certification required Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent patient and family experience Perform service recovery when necessary and escalate issues through chain of command Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience Availability for ASAP start; candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks Ability to float between units as needed Eligibility to work as a professional nurse in the United States Willingness to adhere to facility and unit policies Facility & Location
