BMA Group Global
Support the CFO in day-to-day financial operations and decision‑making: monthly close, controls/compliance, FP&A (budget/forecast), management reporting, cash management, and billing/revenue cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Monthly close:
bank/accounting reconciliations, provisions/accruals, journal entries, variance review, and audit support.
Management reporting:
P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow; monthly/annual analysis with clear commentary.
FP&A:
annual budget and rolling forecast; sensitivities and “what‑if” scenarios.
Cash and working capital:
weekly cash projection, payment calendar, AP/AR coordination, aging, and collections follow‑up.
Billing and revenue cycle:
preparation and review of invoices against contracts/POs, coordination with Operations for billable milestones, monitoring of unbilled/underbilled items, support in revenue recognition, validation of tax/compliance fields in invoices, and reconciliation with AR.
Costs and margins:
standard costs, unit economics, and margin analysis by line/client/project.
Compliance and controls:
support in internal policies, documentation, audit and banking requirements.
Data and processes:
improvement of templates/reports (Excel/BI), simple automations (Power Query/VBA), and data cleansing.
Ad hoc analysis:
capex/pricing, vendor/contract review, and memos for CFO/committee decisions.
Requirements
1–4 years in finance/accounting/FP&A, audit, or banking (Big 4, corporate FP&A, or management control are a plus).
Hands‑on experience in accounting close, reconciliations, financial analysis, cash management, and billing fundamentals.
Advanced Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, nested functions, Power Query); strong presentation skills.
Experience with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and BI tools (basic Power BI/Tableau).
Knowledge of US GAAP; desirable understanding of local taxes and withholdings.
Integrity, discretion, and sense of ownership; excellent organization and prioritization.
Bilingual Spanish–English (written and spoken).
