Senior Coordinator Marketing & Social Media Content
Premier high-end residential remodeling firm in Wauwatosa, WI is seeking a self‑motivated, social media savvy individual to join our dynamic team and assist with the creation of industry-leading social content. This role will lead the overall social media & branding/marketing strategy for multiple accounts across the organization, including ideation, content creation, publishing, external brand partnership/relationship liaison, and reporting for organic and branded content in conjunction with our external branding and marketing companies.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:
Ideate, create, and post original and engaging social media content across all applicable platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Houzz, X).
Social Media Management:
Maintain a detailed weekly/monthly social media calendar, accounting for organic and sponsored content to ensure consistent, quality content. Monitor and respond to social media inquiries, comments & messages in a timely & professional manner.
Brand Awareness:
Drive brand awareness & engagement through blogs, facilitating interviews, sharing project progress online, and shaping narratives.
Website Maintenance:
Organize and manage website content updates as necessary (i.e., project portfolio photos and details, team updates, blog links, upcoming event information).
Trend Analysis:
Remain up-to-date on emerging social media platforms, trends, and best practices and recommend innovative strategies to reach new audiences and engage existing followers.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with external digital marketing, website, and brand development teams to ensure cohesive brand strategies and consistent voice.
Awards and Recognition:
Complete and submit award applications (e.g., NARI, ASID, LuxeRed, Home & Design, Faces of MKE).
Photo & Film Shoots:
Coordinate and oversee photo and film shoots: act as the primary contact for photographers, manage calendar creation, staging, logistics, and ensure required content is visually captured.
Event Support:
Assist with the preparation for internal meetings & special events.
Occasional Evening/Weekend Events:
As the brand and content creation expert, you may need to attend occasional home shows, awards ceremonies, tours, etc. during non‑traditional hours. These events will be scheduled with advanced notice, and flexible work schedule adjustments will be made to accommodate.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a relevant area of study
Continuing education and/or Certifications in digital marketing, social media, etc., are beneficial
Experience & familiarity with SEO practices and strategies
Proficiency in communication & social media management tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, WordPress, Canva, Umbraco, Google Workplace)
Familiarity with HubSpot and Buildertrend is helpful
Necessary Qualifications
Proven experience (5+ years, full‑time) in social media management, content creation, branding, communications, marketing
Exceptional written & verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities
Copywriting skillset & masterful storytelling
Excellent problem‑solving and creative solutions skills
Strong organizational, conceptual, and time‑management skills
A commitment to quality and attention to detail
Experience in photography & videography is a plus
A desire to learn and grow in your career
Schedule & Work Location
Full‑time: 8‑hour shift
Typical schedule is Monday to Friday; some evening and/or weekend event attendance is required with advanced notice and the ability to adjust work schedule as necessary.
In‑person: on‑site in the office
Travel
Travel for content creation, photoshoots, events, or client meetings (greater Milwaukee area)
Potential out‑of‑state travel (2‑5 day event) for business development and/or personal development opportunities.
